Hola, Gracias por responder. He seguido todos esos pasos. Y ni siquiera me sale la extensión .Val, por lo tanto no puedo hacer nada. Creo que es un problema más bien de mi PC, que del programa Seamly2D. Saludos

Ich bin am verzweifeln.
Ich habe die letzten Tag einen Modelschnitt angelegt. Diesen Schnitt habe ich abgespeichert und daran weiter gearbeitet. Dafür habe ich Änderungen auch im Verlauf der Chronik gemacht. Immer die richtigen Punkte ausgesucht und abgespeichert. Ich habe diese Datei dann auch mehrmals geschlossen und wieder geöffnet um zu kontrollieren ob alles stimmt. Das hat alles funktioniert. Heute morgen möchte ich die Datei öffnen um meinen Schnitt auszudrucken. Das funktioniert nicht mehr mit folgender Fehlermeldung:(
Kann mir einer einen Tipp geben, wie ich dieses Problem selbst beheben kann? Was ist da passiert, wenn es gestern noch reibungslos funtioniert hat?

Perhaps one of the developers can explain this…
For some reason, the program is adding "visible =“false” " to the end of these 2 lines - which I have removed - and also the "inuse=“false” " - which I have changed to “true”:

It’s best to post these problems on here so that the developers can see there’s a problem and can fix the software. However, I have downloaded Notepad++ which is a small program to edit code and is also open source (free). But, if you’re not familiar with the code side of things, you can totally mess up your pattern.

OK-dann lasse ich besser die Finger davon! Ich habe gestern den Schnitt noch mal neu aufgestellt, weil ich ihn dringend brauchte. Dabei habe ich nicht in Entwicklungsschritte eingegriffen, sondern diese überlagert. Was natürlich das Datenvolumen und die Anzahl der Gruppen in der Datei immer größer werden lässt.
Damit meine Dateien mit einer Weiterentwicklung nicht zunehmend mehr überfüllt sind, versuche ich nicht mehr benötigte Komponeneten raus zu löschen und benötigte Änderungen so in der Cronik einzuarbeiten, das sie passen - eigentlich eine super Anwendung.
Mir ist bewusst, dass die Cronik noch auf wackeligen Beinen steht. Deswegen habe ich auch zwischendurch immer abgespeichert und auch die Datei geschlossen und wieder geöffnet. Das hat auch immer gut funktioniert. Nur nach 24 Stunden Ruhepause lies sie sich nicht mehr öffnen.
Es wäre wirklich eine inflationäre Weiterentwicklung, wenn man in diesem weiter Stil arbeiten könnte. Wobei ich wie schon so oft den Entwicklern ein megagroßes Lob für ihre Arbeit und ihren Einsatz aussprechen muss.
In diesem Sinne arbeite ich mit viel Freude weiter.
Warum kommt der Text eigentlich immer anders raus als in der Vorschau eingeblendet?

Well since I was just working this… this attribute is related as to whether the point name label is visible or not. Currently as far I know this only applies to when the label size goes below a certain (zoom) scale value. In other words if you zoom out, at some point the labels will be hidden. I have worked out hiding / showing - all or single point names. Stay tuned.
There is apparently an issue with “in use” attribute… demand issue can happen when an object is deleted and is not cleared. ??

Hallo @Scholli, ich hoffe, dies ist einfacher, die Dateizuordnung für Seamly2D zurückzusetzen. Möglicherweise müssen Sie SeamlME mit dieser Methode auch eine *.vit-Datei zuordnen: Möglicherweise müssen Sie das Video erweitern, indem Sie auf das Symbol in der unteren rechten Ecke klicken 
Hi @Scholli, Hope this is easier to re-set the file association for Seamly2D. You may also need to associate a *.vit file with SeamlME with this method: You may need to expand the video by clicking on the lower right corner icon

Wow, auf Ihrem Computer ist sogar Seamly2D nicht mit dem richtigen Symbol verknüpft

Was ist passiert, als Sie Seamly2D aus der Liste ausgewählt haben? Hat es die Eigenschaftendatei von AdobePhotoshop CS2 in Seamly2D geändert?
Wow, on your computer even Seamly2D isn’t associated with the right icon. I wouldn’t know how to fix this, you might want to contact a professional Windows support person.
What happened when you selected Seamly2D from the list? Did it change the properties file from Adobe Photoshop CS2 to Seamly2D?

Nein, bei Photoshop blieb alles beim alten. Kann das sein, das beim Herunterladen ein Fehler aufgetreten ist und vielleicht nicht vollständig aufgespielt wurde?

When you:
- selected .val file in File Explorer
- right clicked on the .val file to see the options popup
- selected ‘Properties’ at the bottom of the popup
- selected the ‘Change’ button
- selected ‘Seamly2D’
- selected ‘OK’ (or clicked twice on ‘Seamly2D’) so the popup closed
- Went back to the .val file File Explorer
- clicked twice on the .val file
…the .val file opened with Photoshop and not Seamly2D?
This isn’t a Seamly2D problem, it’s a problem with your operating system. That being said, it might help for you to uninstall Seamly2D in Windows, then download the latest seamly2d-installed.exe and reinstall it.

What happens when you
- select the .val file in File Explorer
- right click on the file to open the options pop-up
- select ‘Open With’
- select ‘Seamly2D’ …does it open with Seamly2D?

Certainly sounds like the case to me. Can’t say I’ve never had file associations get mixed up… especially when a program hijacks a file type.
