You will have to mirror it before making into detail mode. Use “flipping objects by Axis in operations”. Select your points and curves, but don’t select the point you want to use as the mirror line.
Here for example I use point A as the mirror. You will have to draw your lines by connecting the points afterwards. Then just make a detail of the front and back of your pj pants.
