Daniel here - new to the software, but am slowly getting the hang of it! I wonder if someone might be able to help me with the attached error message. I have created my own bodice block using a patternmaking book I have, but have also purchased the blocks from the seamly.io shop. The measurements seem to all work when used in my own bodice block, but when I try to load the saved measurements into the patten block from the shop, I get this error message. If I have measurements wrong I’m happy to go back and correct them, but at the moment, I’m not entirely sure what this message means, though I’m sure I’ve just made a silly mistake. I’ve found Bbd in the trouser file, but there seems to be a problem with the angle - all of the other angles seem to populate fine (and all pattern pieces), so I’m not sure how to fix this one.
The warning message means that the intersection of the line and axis could not be found… so the origin point ( 0,0 ) is used just to prevent the pattern from crashing. If there’s no point its kind of like a dividing by zero thing, and it would be hard to fix a pattern as it would just keep crashing. I’m sure it’s a case of one of the measurements being incorrect, causing the line or axis to move out of range and not intersect.
If you send me the pattern and your measurments vis a PM, and I can take a look.
