I’m having issues with creating pieces from this draft file. Whenever I try to create the piece i get the error saying that an object with id=80 is missing.
I looked at the file and I can see that there is a point with id 80, and that any other line referencing that id comes in the file after the declaration of the point. I’m not sure what I did wrong, is it possible to salvage the file?
After a few days spent on this problem I just found that the error I got when I was in “piece” mode but then clicking the “new draft” button. The error giving no indicatin of my wrong use of the application made me think that the file was the issue, but when I click enter to create the pattern piece everything works out fine
This sounds similar to an issue we’ve discussed before. If I remember correctly, the Workaround for that issue was to save & close the file, reopen it, then create a new pattern object.
Please provide the measurement file so we can troubleshoot and find the actual issue you encountered so we can fix it. But the workaround should keep you going until we do.
Not sure how this is possible? When in Piece Mode the “New Draft Block” button and menu item - or more specifically the Pattern Toolbar actions - are disabled.
