Take a look at Makezine’s articles. Your article doesn’t have to be lengthy but good photos and diagrams are a plus! Describe the problem you’re solving and your approach to solving it and what’s been achieved so far. Then state the next steps, and what you need people to do for you to get it to the next step, and how to join the project and get more information (via Hackaday.io?)
Include include some hacker porn photos: photo closeups of the gear mechanisms, and of the print head unit, plus a photo of it while it’s working. Include diagrams and a link to your Hackaday.io page. If you include a video of it working that will be a plus!!!
