Here is a listing of Valentina versions, and which OSX versions they run on.

Test version v0.5.0: Mac OSX Maverick (10.9) and Yosemite (10.10), and later

Current release v0.4.5: Mac OSX Mountain Lion (10.8), Maverick (10.9), and Yosemite (10.10), and later

Previous release v0.4.4: Mac OSX Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8), Maverick (10.9), and Yosemite (10.10)

Both the current and test versions also work fine on OS X 10.12.3 (macOS Sierra) in my experience.

Thank for letting us know! I’ve updated the post to show it works in later versions. So many things changed in 10.10 that it seems to be a breaking point for software.
