Hello! My name is Sara, and I’ve been using Seamly for a couple of weeks now.
It’s been a very useful tool for me as a student designer, and I’ve created and graded a few patterns already for pants, jackets and shirts. Big thanks to everyone who’s contributed to the software and community.
I’ve come across this issue with point names in a file. They were normal names like A, A_1, AB, etc. but now they all changed to OA with symbols and arrows on top. I can’t upload images yet since I’m a new user.
If anyone has experienced it and knows the cause/solution, please let me know! Thanks!
Welcome to the Seamly forum @Sara_MJ! I think it sounds like something happened with your font settings, but I’ve bumped up your level so you should be able to post an image of what’s going on now.
As @Pneumarian pointed out the font probably changed. If the mouse pointer is over the Font drop down and you use the scroll wheel the font will change. Change it back to something else.
Arial is always a good choice as all 3 platforms usually have it installed BTW… just be aware that using the mouse over any drop down or spin box will change the item or value. This is just the default behaviour of the Qt widgets.
