As shown in the picture above, when I input 8+3 I expect A3 to be 11 cm from A2, but it is actually 5 cm. Enclosing the calculation with bracket fix this, as shown in the picture below.
Hello @najdmie . Yes, it’s doing some very strange thing without the brackets. It’s placing a ghost node at the correct place which is only visible when the node is selected, and placing the actual node somewhere else:
It looks like it’s placing the ghost node in the correct place and then placing the actual node at 8-3cm. Very strange.
Note… since the length calculation of curves involves a bunch of math with real numbers, the calculated length can vary a few 1000ths of a cm from the formula calculation. Unless I can figure out a more accurate calculation of the curve length, I think formating the curve & fx calculations to 2 decimal places for CM units, and 3 places for Inch units will round them to the same value.
