No. Then there should be under-pressure to avoid slipping cloth…
Well, for using a laser, the table has to be made of metal. Otherwise you need a new one after each pattern
totally agree
The plotter is amazing enough, let’s keep this thread about the plotter, thanks!
Agreed… seems like a fun project for those so inclined.
If cutting vinyl we can ust tape a piece to the bed/tray, but with fabrics like tackle twill we need to use the sticky pad to keep the fabric in place or It’s a mess. Of course as soon as you use the sticky pad it can change the pressure on the knife…
From my experience these pens suck. I pretty much use tailors chalk. Might work on smooth fabrics, but anything with a texture - forget it. Even a poly cotton will tear the pen tip up in no time… fabric can be very abrasive. They do make a disappearing ink pen… which can be handy in certain cases.
Hmmm… Good points, although using a marker-style pen and just placing dots to make up the line would do. Even better, how about using a DIY inkjet system, then, like the InkShield, along with water-erasable ink?

That would would be much better. You could print on any fabric… short of faux furs.
