We are building a fashion tech platform, can we integrate Seamly into our software such that seamly will be used to record customer measurements?
I’m not sure what your question is. Are you asking about capability, or for permission?
SeamlyMe is specifically designed for recording customer measurements which can then be used to shape patterns drafted in Seamly2D. So it can certainly be used for recording measurements.
As for permission, I’m not qualified to give a standing response, but my understanding is that you are certainly welcome to use Seamly as part of the workflow of your fashion tech platform – that’s what the “free” in Free & Open Source Software means – as long as you are not claiming it as your own IP.
Hi @Ramapatlolla,
Welcome to the Seamly forum!
Let’s talk about how SeamlyMe can be used with your platform. Send me a Zoom calender invite to Sue@seamly.io. Looking forward to our discussion.
Thanks for this clarification ! I also manage an e-commerce site of my client which is a clothing store and have been exploring ways to streamline customer measurement collection for better product fit. SeamlyMe sounds like a great option for recording measurements and integrating them into the workflow. It’s helpful to know about the open-source flexibility.
I’ll definitely look into how it can be incorporated into our fashion tech platform while respecting its IP guidelines!
