Hi Grace, That sounds like a great way to get better measurements, Basic measurements are easy, Bust, waist, Hip but that’s using stretch fabric that’s very forgiving. The hardest part of measuring is when you are holding one end of the measure it distorts the measurements. I am going to make some adjustable templates to make measuring my back easier.
