Copy paste for the pant waistband

I’ve drawn a pants pattern with a waistband at the front and back on the rough draft.

I’d like to have the two pieces placed end to end so I can generate the pattern piece. I haven’t found a copy-paste function with rotation to make this change. Does anyone have a tip?

Hello and welcome to the Seamly forum, @Greta_Dancso When moving & rotating you need to make yourself very clear on what you are moving to where, because the default point of origin is set to the center point between 2 points of the move. If the 2 points are not connected with a line, I like to place a line connecting them. There is also a Union function in the Piece mode to unite two pieces. But if you use it, do not make any Internal Paths for the Piece before the Union. That leads to sorrow. Using the method which @nejcek74 linked to is better, more stable; using the Union tool is easier, but somewhat prone to breaking your file.
