Could not delete point even if it had no dependency

I just experienced an issue with a point mage from a perpendicular line. The point could not be deleted but there was no error message saying that it had any dependencies. The delete was just grayed out. On other objects when I try to delete them the error would pop up.

Unfortunately I can not provide the file in question as it ended up getting corrupted in my attempts to figure out the issue.

You may have used the object in a pattern piece. You will need to delete the pattern piece first and then try to delete the object.

Normally, if you reopen the pattern directly after the crash, it should open an auto-saved version from before the crash.

However, if you send both the pattern & measurement files, then we can try to recover it for you.
