Hey folks… thanks to @seam we have a new feature when using Dark Mode.
That is the pen color will adapt to White on a dark background or Black on a light background. The actual underlying pattern color for ‘black’ will still remain black. I have added to the color combobox to display Black | White when in adaptive mode.
That means the pen color for ‘Black’ will be Black or White depending on the background color. For example by changing the background color to White, the pen color 'adapts" to black.
You can set whether the pen color will adapt or not by the checkbox setting in the Color prefs:
The feature also includes 2 new background colors… Charcoal and Graphite:
turning off the Adaptive setting the combobox reverts baclk to just displaying Black:
I added all the translations for the UI changes:
Layouts and exports remain Black on White.
