Hello and welcome to the Seamly forum, @Barb_Rahal

 I’ve only every made a coat for mine to wear in winter

Nothing fancy but it does keep them warm.

I put the measurements into the Variables Table because my 3 are very different sizes and I can just edit them in the pattern if I want to make them new ones:

Here’s the pattern if you’d like to have a closer look:

The process is just like making patterns for people, perhaps you can find some instructions on the internet for the type of suit you’d like to make.

Edit I did a quick search and found this that may give you some idea: Leena's.com: PatternMaker Tutorial Web Site and there are a number of pattern images on Pinterest that you could copy using your dog’s measurements.

I will keep you updated and share what I end up making! Thanks again!! smiles Barb

I normally draft a pattern from a tutorial using the measurements given in the tutorial, so that my draft looks identical to theirs and then change the measurements once I’m done to fit the person/pooch that I’m drafting for.

The tutorial is for a different software, but you should get some ideas from it on what measurements to take and how to draft the pattern.

Have fun.
