Are you trying to open the measurement file in Seamly2D? Measurement files (vit or vst) need to be opened in SeamlyMe - which can be opened as a stand alone app, or by using the Measurement menu → SeamlyMe.
Otherwise we need more info, and or a post of the vit file so we can check what may be wrong with it.
