get this error message every time i i open seamly.
doesn’t seem to affect anything but wondering if there is a way around it.

Have you been using a 2nd screen? or did you change your screen settings?
I have mine set to bottom left in the Seamly App Preferences:
Perhaps have a look at what yours is set to.

As usual I’m at a disadvantage as I don’t have a Mac and have no way to test what the app(s) are doing. 
Are you by chance using a screen scale larger than 100%?
I would also make sure Open on second monitor is unchecked if you don’t have second monitor… even though the code is checking if there are more than the 1 primary screen.
It is odd though that the app is trying to open a 270x314 Window at -770, -814… i.e. it’s way off the screen to the left and up. The upper lefthand corner of your screen is 0,0. Unfortunately it’s a Qt message box and does not provide any indication of WHAT window is off screen, other than the size.
Since I can’t see your whole dock area… just by chance is the Layout Pages docked with the Group manager and Property Editor? I wonder if it could be hidden (toggled off), undocked and hanging out way off screen?

error message has now disappeared. i docked everything so maybe that did it!
