I get this error when I go to the Piece Mode.
“You can’t use Piece Mode yet. Please create at least one pattern piece.”
I saved both my pattern and the measure file. I can see the files.
How can I fix It?

Exactly as it says… “Please create at least one pattern piece”. A draft block is not a pattern piece. You need to select the “Add New Pattern Piece” tool:
Then you start selecting nodes (points and curves)… you need to select at least 3 points to make piece (as 2 points only make a line). A red path will be be created as you add each node. You can follow the instructions in the status bar at the bottom…
…then press Return: You will get an initial Pattern Piece Tool dialog where you can set some piece properties… press OK.
NOW… you can got to Piece mode
and finish adding details to the piece:
Maybe your coluld help me too Douglas? I’m hanving troublle with creating my pattern piece. Everything looks ok and the red line is marked around my piece, but after I press enter the ok button isn’t active.

Ok… you may have one of the last 2 releases that has one of several minor bugs when I added the arrow length formula.
If you have the version from 9.15.2025 you can go into the app preferences->pattern->grainlines and you need to set the grainline length or reduce the arrow length so the GL length is at least twice the size of the arrow length . As a reference 48 px = .5 inch or 1.27cm
If you have the version from 9.30.2025 - where the prefs will look like this:
Which will automatically override and set tthe grainline length to twice the arrow length - and it’s still has the issue, then it’s locale related and you have to change the preferences->General separator locale to “Default”… at least temporaily until I upload a new fix. Changing this setting likely may mean instead of using the comma as the decimal separator, the period will be used imstead.. it depends on what your locale (region) usues.
