Hello everyone,
I am currently using Seamly2D as part of my PhD research. My work focuses on the mathematical and geometrical comparison of different pattern construction systems. To do this, I reconstruct several pattern systems and compare their resulting geometries.
The project currently includes skirts, trousers and T-shirts, multiple pattern systems from different countries, and multiple sizes.
I have already spent some time browsing through the forum and found several discussions related to CSV imports, but I have not yet found an answer that fully addresses my situation.
I am using SeamlyME as a kind of custom master measurement table. Besides body measurements, I also define many construction-related parameters and formulas. For example, I use relationships between measurements and calculate ease allowances and other derived values directly within the measurement file. This allows me to keep the calculations transparent and transferable between sizes and systems.
Because of this, each measurement file contains a large number of values. Entering all of them manually becomes very time-consuming, especially because I need to repeat the process for different products and sizes.
I noticed that Seamly can export measurements as CSV, but I have not been able to find a corresponding import function.
Is there currently any way to import measurements from Excel or CSV files? Even a partial import or some kind of workaround would already be very helpful.
I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thank you very much!
