I have a long-ish background with Illustrator and now with Affinity Designer. I love drawing flat patterns, but it isn’t practical for what I want to do. I am not a sewer anymore (occasionally still dabble), so I am looking to use this for knitwear.
My problem is always time, but I have downloaded the Wiki because I always learn better from paper.
I find this so exciting!

Welcome @jillknits
The big advantage with Seamly over your typical vector application is that it is parametric, where everything has a formula that can use personalized measurements. This is what allows a user to draft one pattern, and resize it simply by loading a different measurement file.
While Seamly is geared towards your typical sewn garments, @Grace may have more input as to how Seamly can be used for knit wear.
Please feel free to reach out if you need help with Seamly.
