Exporting Issue re: sewing margin

Continuing the discussion from Issue with sewing margin:

“Hello! When I save/export a pattern without seam allowances, the allowances are still there in the file. I want to use the pattern for a fitting in CLO3D, so I need it without them. This feature used to work perfectly in previous versions. Could you please look into this?”

Welcome @Nadezhda

If you are referring to using the global Toggle Seam Allowance tool…

Confirmed. It does not disable the SA like it does for the Grainlines and Labels. :expressionless_face:

To be honest without going back and testing with previous versions I can’t say it ever did remove the SA from exporting or producing layouts.

That said… checking the Built In box will disable the SA for that piece… but you have to do tat for every piece.

I will look at fixing the the SA “global” toggle button. :slightly_smiling_face:

I fixed the Toggle SA button. It was an easy fix. Toggling the SA off will now disable the SA when Exporting Pieces and when Creating / Exporting Layouts.

Not sure when I’ll make a PR as I have a pending PR that’s been broke & in limbo for awhile which I finally addressed. I would like to get it merged before adding anything new.
