Link to Functions page in the wiki. It doesn’t tell WHY you might want to use the various mathematical functions, but it does tell HOW to format a function which you already know you want to use! Well enough to get you started anyway.

I added the examples you wrote on the wiki, as well as some info about the domains and the return values of the functions to the help section directly in the software 
It’ll be implemented in the next release.
