Am I correct in thinking that if I set the color linetype for a particular group the lines/curves should change to those color and lineweights?
Mine is not working like this. Maybe it’s a setting?

It’s funny that you point that out now, we talked about that with Douglas a few hours ago.
It was initially the goal, yes, but this feature is not implemented yet since it’s currently possible to add a single object to multiple groups, and we’ve to decide what to do in those cases. Maybe the last group created could have the final word and impose its color ?
On the same topic, I’ll try to implement a paint tool, so we can select a color in the pen toolbar and click on objects to color them without having to manually go into each object’s properties to change their color manually. I’ll try to start to work on it this weekend if I find some time.
Or first. Since the getGroups() returns a QMap of group Id and attributes, where the only logical choices would be the first or last group… which would be the same if there is only 1 group.
I’m wondering if we should make it a pen “Style” tool rather than a “paint” tool that just sets the color? If we have it so a user can save presets, they can make up any number of Styles they want. We can also define a Semantic set of Seamly presets - which we’ve had discussions about in the past - where users could all be on the same page so to speak if they use the semantic presets. For ex: If patterns were being made a for Seamly pattern service.
