Hi, I am new to Valentina so I am probably doing something wrong. I can’t figure out how to create a work piece. Every time I use the seam allowance tool, even on simple patterns, I’ll drag the tool, highlighting all of the edges but no dialog box appears like in the tutorial. I can’t use the detail mode or layout since I can’t figure out creating a workpiece, so I’m worried I won’t be able to print.
I’m using 0.5.0.0a on a Mac.

Hi @shannanana When selecting the points of your pattern, you click on the actual points, lines and curves that you would like you pattern outline to follow - always in a clockwise direction. When you are done, press the Enter key on your computer to finish the selecting.
That should bring up the dialog box.
I’d suggest creating a square and practicing on it a few times just to get the hang of it
