Groups are so you can organize nodes (objects) together and control the visibility of the objects as a group.
First you need to create a group:
Then using the context menu you can add an object to a group:
So now point A4 is contained in Group 1"
I then added A5, A6, and A7 to Group 1, and added A, A1, a2, and A3 to Group 2:
Now by clicking the “eye” button in the first column you can show / hide a group:
Group 1 is hidden:
Group 2 is hidden:
Group 1 and Group 2 are both hidden… leaving only Spl_A2_A3 visible:
While were at it - The tool buttons in the Group manager:
Black Eye - shows All groups. Grey Eye - hides All groups. Black Lock - locks All groups. Grey Lock - unlocks All Groups. Plus Sign - adds new group. Minus Sign - delete selected group. Pencil - edit selected group.
Also double clicking on any object in the Objects list will Zoom to that Object, making it’s Group visible.
