Which tool did you use to create point A9? Perhaps you can just add a solid line type to it.

There is no tool that draws a line through 3 points.

I would think it’s the Point on Line tool, with a length that’s longer than the line segment. Personally I’m partial to just using the Point - Length & Angle as with the Point on Line tool you’re kinda of expecting the point to be on the line segment.

After dealing with some of the visuals in other tools, I’m finding there could be some improvement in the visuals for a bunch of tools. The Point on Line being one of them. I think if the visual when you clciked on the Point on Line tool looked like this - assuming you selected No Pen for the point - it would indicate better that the point is on the line, but not on the line segment.
