I locked myself out of my own pattern by setting it to “read only” and after cutting it there’s a mistake I have to correct. Are my hours of work just lost or is there a way to unlock it?

I suggest putting this feature under password for hectic and forgetful users…

No. It’s a simple security feature by obfuscation rather than a hard core security feature.

Just edit the file xml file: Remove the "readOnly=“true” or change it to "readOnly=“false” - your choice.
