When done using the seamly 2d installer it proceeds to say complete but, is no where to be found. I’ve even switched the download destination but still no seamly app found. Has anyone else had this issue and know what it is, and what to do to fix it.
If a Windows user have youtried running the installer as Admin?
No… but I’d try downloading the latest release and try again.
I used the option from the help menu to download latest version and this failed (on attempting to install various qt library components). I was able to get this to work by manually extracting the file that had been automatically downloaded then using run as admin to execute the installer. This may not be obvious to most people. It would be more convenient if clicking on the option in the help narrative to install new version would simply work without incident.
I am running on a fairly new windows laptop and windows 11. I am the only user on the system but apparently not “the admin” unless I explicitly select that option from a menu.
