Is It possible To Draw These Kind Of Shapes On Seamly?

Question 1) External piece patterns which sew on to the body patterns like (Pocket Types, Pocket Bags, Shirt Plackets etc.)

Question 2) Detailed shapes like (Notch Lapel Collar, Shawn Lapel Collar)

Strategies to draw those?

Note : I know pattern making.

  1. Yes, you can add internal paths to the main pattern pieces and draft the individual pattern pieces for the Pocket Bags, Shirt Plackets, etc.

  2. Yes, you can draft such detailed shapes directly onto the main pattern pieces and create the individual pattern pieces separate to the main pieces.

Normally, you would draft them onto the main pieces, making sure that they fit properly, if you’re drafting by hand. You will do the same in Seamly2D, only using the tools instead of pencils, rulers & paper. The strategies are the same.
