The Layout Editor outputs one huge page which cannot be printed with a standard printer only capable of A4 or A3 or whatever is standard in your country.
There exists tools like
and others, which generate multiple small pages from one huge page which can be printed and reglued afterwards.
But these tools are optimized for fotos, not technical drawings. They are
- not dimensionally stable,
- dont print corner marks,
- dont print a reference ruler
- and are clumsy to use.
Please consider to integrate above features into Layout-Editor
