I have read the tutorials on getting the labels and I have successfully edited the template to add labels to my pattern. However, once I go to layout mode, they are not visible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello & welcome to our Forum, @Cheri
I can only think that you need to drag the label into the pattern area. I like to place a centre pin to anchor the label to the approximate centre of the pattern, however, if you have not pinned it down, it will be at the top left of the pattern and you can drag it to where you would like it to be on the pattern.

Preliminary to what Grace said, if you missed the checkbox for showing the label, (as I have done almost every time,) you’ll find it in the Labels section of the Workpiece Tool, under the Labels tab. It’s the Detail label that you want to have checked.
