Last Week’s Achievements for Seamly2D

2024/04/20

Wow, what a productive week we had! 🎉 Download latest from here.

In the past 7 days, we accomplished six pull requests – that’s amazing teamwork!

First, we fixed an issue with our CI environment by pinning it to macos-13, as macos-latest was causing compatibility issues with our Qt5 integration. This ensures a smoother and more stable development experience.

Next, we enhanced and updated our About dialog with some new features. This will provide our users with more detailed information about the project and its contributors.

We also addressed some UI bugs that arose after merging the new Background Image feature. These fixes will ensure that our interface remains user-friendly and visually appealing.

In addition, we resolved a compilation issue by removing some old conditionals that were no longer necessary. This will make our codebase more streamlined and maintainable.

Furthermore, we fixed the default Piece Label template, ensuring that it is accurate and consistent across the board.

Last but not least, we successfully implemented the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the Background Image feature. This will allow users to draft on top of PNG images and make it more visually engaging and speed up pattern development time.

Overall, it was a highly productive week with a wide range of improvements and bug fixes. Great job to everyone involved, @Onetchou @JimGizmo @Douglas & @marco-langer – let’s keep up the awesome work! 💪

Cheers, Your friends at What The Diff
