MACOS zipfile

Hello. Is it just me or is the MACOS zip file not working? I received the link, then download but can’t open.

I work on Windows, so I can’t really say. I can only suggest that you download the latest version for Mac here. There is also a PDF that explains how to install on Mac.

Normally the installation file is inside the zip file, so if you unpack the zip file, won’t it work then?

Does the file not unzip, or does your computer prompt you with a warning not to open?
I just downloaded again to test, and it works fine to download & unzip on my Mac. I do get a safety warning pop-up with every new version of Seamly, as my computer freaks out as soon as something doesn’t come out of the app store I guess… I think I remember that right click - open instead of double click was one way to solve this.

I also have problems installing the new version Seamly2d for Windows 64

I found the solution! My antivirus detected Seamly2D-installer.exe as malicious and sent it to the “quarantine” section. I turned off my antivirus and was able to install it.
