Not pretty sure if already someone asked for the same. I could not find something in the forum.
It would make our work a lot easier if we could divide a line into a selectable number of equal segments. An example of how to use it would be to distribute buttons, for example. (will add an additional request for pattern mode)
Line_A65_A65d divided in 4 equal segments in one step. Customisation would also be much quicker afterwards if you want to reduce the number of buttons, for example.
The “line-segment” tool could replace the midpoint-tool (line divided in 2 segments as default)
I’m sure it’s been mentioned before… but yes I already have it in the back of mind. I’ve already envisoned a segmenting tool as the basis for a Symbols tool, where you can configure not only multiple buttons, but button holes, snaps, hooks, etc.
If I may add one final comment. The segmentation tool should be a general tool and not just for haberdashery. It would also be useful in the construction of the sleeve head.
