When I add a notch, the notch does not appear on the pattern piece (there is no seam allowance). The program often crashes at further attempts to check the node in ‘draft’, and the main path and notches in ‘piece’ to make sure all is correct. This is a recent issue, as I have added notches successfully in the past.

Can you provide more details… such as what OS and app version you are using as well as a pattern & measurements that may be causing an issue.

OK… I have some ideas, but I would need to see the pattern itself. The app has pecularities in regards to the use of “real” numbers where there can be edge case issues of rounding errors or it can never guaranteed that a real number = 0… it could be .0000000000001. Close, but not = 0. Sometimes the length or angle of a control handle can cause “fuzzy math” issues where for example notches don’t appear. Also mirroring can sometimes create some SA related issues… such as notches not showing.
Can you post the pattern and any measurement file used?

Thanks for that. I’ll keep it in mind in future. In the meantime, I can work around it, as it’s not critical as I’m still in ‘practice’ mode. It’s a marvellous program and I’m enjoying trying it out. Thanks for your prompt reply.
