Hello! While I was working on my guitar case pattern, a parsing error randomly stopped me from accessing my last save. I tried hard to fix it on text editor but sadly I can’t figure out where is the error exactly. If I could have some pointers on how to fix it would be greatly, greatly appreciated! Or if I can send my last save from Seamly2d for someone to amend for me, that would be amazing. I don’t mind losing some parts if need be.
Oh and this is what the error said (It doesn’t let me attach a screenshot)
Error parsing file.
ExceptionObjectError: Error creating or updating piece
ExceptionBadId: Can’t find tool in table., id = 486
tag: piece in line 346
<node idObject="15
It would have happened naturally after a period of time, but I manually bumped your user level up so you can send attachments now.
So yes send us your pattern and any measurements, and we’ll fix it. Also if you can recall any steps you may have taken before the error… such as did you delete anything, or use the Undo, that may help me determine if there’s a bug that needs fixing.
Thank you, that is kind of you to have a look Douglas. Sorry I can’t remember what I last pressed! Also it requires no measurement file. Here is my latest save:
Guitar case.sm2d (95.4 KB)
and the error which came with it:
Thank you, so kind of you to have a look. No measurement files were required so here is my latest save:

and my error pop-up:
I’ve removed the pattern piece that was giving the error. @Douglas may be able to fix it so that you don’t lose the pattern piece, but I’m guessing you would like to work, so here’s your pattern back:
There was an internal path included from another block in the piece. So the piece is there, but I deleted the ipath which will need to be added back in the proper piece.
