Is there a way to control the pattern pieces display order?

also when i click the eye symbol the pattern piece is still visible. should it disappear?

You can sort by any of the columns… but you can’t order the rows in a custom order. It would a lot of effort to figure out how to do that. The list is dynamic and can be updated at any time, and it’s filled by ascending piece id number. The list widget model handles sorting.
The column header will indicate which column the list is sorted by and whether it’s acending or decending… with a V or ^… pic below is sorted by letter decedning.
Sorted acending by color:
Sorted acending by name.
That applies to whether the piece is visible ie: included in the layout… not whether a piece is visible on the Piece screen.
