Problem with pattern piecing

Hello everyone! I’m new to seamly but I’ve got experience in pattern drafting. I’m trying to make a gored skirt and, although everything seems fine at the drafting stage, when I try to piece the pattern, the shapes are all over the place. The first and second gores are fine, but the third and fourth look just wrong. The problem comes when I try to select the bottom curve, for some reason it doesn’t want to follow the curve and does all sort of wacky things. I’ve tried to reverse the curve, too, but it doesn’t work either. Is it anything I’m doing wrong? (I’ve tried to upload pictures but unfortunately I can’t, so I guess this is kinda futile) Thanks you!

Welcome Gonzalo,

The attachment restriction is usually just a temporary security precation to stop bots from uploading attachments. I manually elevated your user level so you should now be able to upload pictures… as well as your pattern and any measurements - which is usually the easiest way for us to see what the issue is. We need to be able to see the curves and control points in draft mode as well as the main path in Piece mode to identify the issue.

Just as a guess thought with out seeing… you may have a control point at the end of a curve flipped 180 degs which will throw the pattern piece path off in Piece mode.
