Problem with seam allowance?

It is possible, that there is a problem with the seamallowance tool? I’ve tried to figure out, how to define the right angle with the seamallowance, but I think the result is wrong.

The point before was defined with 1 cm and then the next point have no seamallowance. The result is one corner instead of two lines with an intersection.

You can try fiddling with the settings at the bottom to find the one that presents the best:

Try the 2nd edge symmetry.
