Yes, this is a feature I have wished for many times. Recreating groups sometimes means you miss other points and so you will end up with more than one group for each group you need.

I think Scholli is talking about a different issue.

That being said… I will be updating the creation and use of groups with lots of new features. Some of which I’ve discussed in this topic: Lock Line Appearance
