Seam allowance corner issue @ A8

My seam allowance is not at the angle that I want it at A8 but changing it to different options doesn’t seem to change anything. Would like to be like A35.

The handle on the curve is at 270° and there’s a line between A28 & A44 that is at 0°, so the seam allowance is going the same way.

If you want it to follow the curve then you need to subtract another15° to the curve handle:

Then you can start the waist curve at A28 & remove A44 from the pattern piece. The curve handle at A28 will be the angle of the curve handle of the side curve + 90°. If you repeat that on the other piece, then the waist curve should transition nicely once the side seams are sewn up.

I was actually asking about the crotch point A8 but thanks for those pointers!

I was able to get the result you want (at least I assume so). But I would suggest to move the spline handles/anchors a bit as suggested by Grace
