It is a while since I used Seamly2D now version 0.6.0.1, and build date Jan 6th, 2025. I created a new pattern. Made a few pattern pieces and went to seam allowance. Noted that seam allowance was in inch, I wanted cm. Went to Application preferences, changed Inches to cm. The seam allowance on created pattern pieces are still in inches. How can I change the allowances into cm as I have on all the other patterns I have created a year or so ago. I am running on Ubuntu 24.10.

I found a solution. Opened the sm2d file for the pattern in a text editor, and changed the fifth row inch to cm. Saved the change and reopened the pattern.

Yup, That’ll do it! Just make sure that none of the formulae rely on the pattern being in inches.
