I was wondering how to draw a symmetric curve to form the waist line.
We usually use a hip curve while drafting on paper.

Add control handle points that are perpendicular to the center line, the dart sides, and the contol handle at the top of the side seam curve. The length of the control handles should be 1/3 the length of the line between the two curve end points.
