Transferring the whole darts and internal lines to the pieces

My drafted pattern is up to hip-line .I don’t know how to transfer the whole darts and internal lines to the pieces

You should use the “Internal path” tool:

For instance, if I have created this piece:

With:

image

And I want to add the “dart”, I select the internal path tool:

image

Then I click on A4, A6, A5, then enter and select the pattern piece to add the dart to:

image

It should display the corresponding lines on the pattern piece:

image

You can use this tool to add other internal lines you want on the pieces :blush:

Just a note… You can set the point size of the GUI font in the prefs, and the text in lists won’t be so huge. I have to check why the default point size on a new install is so big. It should be set to 9 point. :roll_eyes:

Good thing to know. Getting darts on the pattern piece is one of the things I wanted to figure out next.

The darts are normally drawn on the inside of the pattern piece using the Add Internal Path tool (bottom left in the Piece - Add Detail section).
