Hi all! I tried to install the Ubuntu package on my Ubuntu 25.10 but although the install work, I got the following message when opening the program:
When pressing OK the program open and I can open files but when making change to the pattern got this ![image|502x146] (upload://jmXWGQMW4gamVMwPDPFVn7DZybM.png) And when pressing OK seamly2D just shutdown… Is there a simple fix?

Have you tried opening the program again and if so does it do the same thmg?
Yes… delete the log file.
I have never seen the other error… I would need to know what release version you are using so can try and check it with Ubuntu on my other laptop.

Sorry… woks magic only for the firts message, still got the 2nd one. My Ubuntu version is Ubuntu 25.10 Flatpack: io.seamly.seamly2d.flatpakref

Ah… OK. I’m just running Kubuntu from a USB drive, so it doesn’t have the Wifi installed. 
I need to find an ethernet cable so I can plug into the router to download an install the flatpak… then I can get back to you on that. I can try the appimage, but I don’t know if would have the same issue.

No, the appimage is working fine for me at the moment so real urgency there. Tks Doug

@Douglas – Thank you for pointing out that deleting the log file eliminates the problem, but why did this problem occur, do we know?

It may be a random (Seamly) file locking issue, where the log file is left locked.? I’ve run into from time to time, but haven’t really looked into why it happens.
