Volunteers for GitHub Accelerator

The more volunteers we have for the next 10 weeks the more likely we will receive more sponsorship. So get excited about this and post in the thread what you want to work on.

Ideas for the next 10 weeks:

  1. Video tutorials to post to our YouTube channel that can be linked on our website and here - pick a tool, any tool!
  2. Translations - copy what we have to a new project on Transifex so we can really fix SeamlyMe
  3. Manuals for download from our website and from here
  4. Suggestions?

Post your reply, let’s get some sponsorship!

I’d be glad to help (in my limited range of competences). I can translate english to french (but have not figured how the tools work ).

I can work on manuals and/or manuals layouts too.

The only thing I need is… directions.

Hey, I will try to do 2 tutorial videos in May and I’ll even try -drumroll- to record a Voiceover!

@crn Wish I could give you multiple stars!

Tutorials will be added to our YouTube channel (Seamly - YouTube) for permanent storage then the YouTube tutorials can be linked here.

We’ll use YouTube because this forum has a size limit on each file, and a limit on total file storage.

You can share any tutorial videos with hello@seamly.net using WeTransfer, a free service for photographers. Then they will be uploaded to YouTube.

Plus by storing on Youtube, it opens the videos to a much larger audience… not to mention Youtube is geared towards video.

Once you create a video, please send it to hello@seamly.net using WeTransfer, a free service for photographers. Then I’ll upload the video to YouTube.

This forum has limited forum storage and also a file size limit which is why we’ll put them on YouTube. The videos can be linked here in posts, and also linked to the forum’s wiki, and to our wiki.seamly.net site.

Also with videos, when they are uploaded to YouTube the Seamly logo will be added to the lower right corner. So no one should worry too much about the branding or styling. The videos can have community flavor, which is one of most charming aspects of this project.
