Warning from QRtAudioEngine?

Hi, I got this message today after opening ‘About Seamly2D’ to check for any updates … Colour me curious :thinking:

It reappeared once after confirmation, but has not reappeared since. Any ideas?

My only thought is it must have something to do with the “Selection sound” setting, possibly the sound capability loaded at a different rate than expected???

I definitely see a typo in that error message though.

Ha… I can’t take the blame on this one. :slight_smile:

It’s either in the Xerces library which makes no sense as that’s the xml validator lib OR it’s a Qt internal error.

Call me baffled. Seamly does no use the QRtAudioEngine?

It’s an internal Qt error:

QRtAudioEngine is an internal class and runtime component associated with the Qt Multimedia and Spatial Audio modules, frequently invoked during 3D positional audio processing or application shutdown sequences in cross-platform software like OpenSCAD.

Thanks for the responses … this has not reoccurred since the initial occurrence. As I said just curious …:thinking:

I suppose it’s good thing… but in an odd way something I wish we knew how to reproduce the warning so as to maybe avoid it in the future. Maybe this is another case where this could be handled as a non-critical “noisy execption” that could just be ignored?
